From What I've spent my career doing
For 36 years my job was making things run smoothly for senior leaders under pressure. I managed diaries and priorities, coordinated people and planning, handled sensitive personnel matters and kept confidential information confidential.
Most of that time was in the British Army, latterly in a senior staff role at a brigade headquarters. I retired as a Major.
The setting was unusual, but the work wasn't. Being the person everyone turns to teaches you to stay calm, plan three steps ahead and catch the small details before they become big problems.
Why I started Crosbie Executive Support
Leaving after 36 years meant working out what to do with everything I'd learned. The answer came from working alongside founders and consultants. I kept seeing the same pattern: capable people, completely stretched, carrying every operational detail themselves because there was no one they trusted to share it with.
That's the gap I fill.
